She is fluent in Spanish.
Dr. Riveros was born & raised in Colombia. She moved to the sunny state of Florida, where she completed her BA at Nova Southeastern University. She went on to earn her Doctor of Optometry degree from the Inter-American University of Puerto Rico School of Optometry, where she was awarded High Honors. Dr. Riveros practices comprehensive family eye care & low vision eye examination. Her dedication to her patients shows in her work as her patients continue to come back to see her for all their eye care needs. She is an expert on pre- & post-surgical care. Dr. Riveros is a member of the American Optometric Association, the Volunteer Optometric Services Association to Humanity, & the Maryland Optometric Association. Optometry is a family affair with Dr. Riveros, as she & her husband are both sought-after optometrists in the DC metro area.
